A chalky ambition...

It was a lazy Saturday to begin, I hadn't accomplished much by 1pm as usual for that particular day of the week, but was headed for industry. Well, I take that back, I did just finish a French lesson and I suppose that counts for something. A good deal something if I am to leave for Côte d'Ivoire next fall. Ok, back to the story. I headed North up Victoria Street to Shoreview (I find it so strange that I've lived here more or less for 5 years, sometimes I pinch myself as I recollect this fact - am I really a Minnesotan? The same vistas, unassuming and gray in November - I find are wearing dull on my zesty heart), and lingered a few at a friend's house before arriving for creative duty at Hope Church. My friend and boss, Julie, asked for a little help in setting up for her first craft fair. I own that I helped very little but spent our 4+ hours drawing prices and pictures on our chalkboard - it was my masterpiece.
