Sewing to do....

I am the sort of gal to just jump into things.  If I don't know how to do it - I don't usually want to read a book for hours and hours and prepare before cutting. I certainly love books and learning but with sewing, I just want to do it.  I just start and learn as I go - thank you Google - and if I make a mistake, I improvise and that becomes even more fun.  Then there's a story.  However, this changes when I'm working with a fabric I really love or making something that's rather specific (or something very special like a wedding dress). Anyways, I jumped into making a rucksack last night at midnight...because I was awake, finally fell asleep at 3am and its turning out pretty well...sorry, roomie, I know I was probably loud!

These are a few projects I'd like to work on this spring - a soft a-line frock with color block bottom - a series of sweet pleated bodice dresses for the shop - a light weight knee length short sleeve everyday printed dress. Hmmm, I'm excited :)
