College-friendly Italian Chicken & Cheese

1 boneless chicken breast per person
2 cups italian salad dressing (or however much you want)
1/3 cup shredded cheese or 1 piece of sliced cheese per chicken breast
1-2 dashes garlic powder
1 Tbsp oil for pan

Defrost chicken breasts.  Heat oil in pan on the stovetop and place chicken in the pan.  As chicken is cooking, add italian dressing liberally. Note: dressing may begin to crisp on the edges, this is the yummiest part!  Continue until chicken is cooked through, turning each side over and adding more dressing.  When chicken is almost cooked, sprinkle cheese on top of each piece and place lid over the pan.  When cheese is melted, remove lid and heat.  Be sure to cook the chicken well, rare chicken is quite unpleasant.

This is best served with vegetables and rice.  My roommate and I prefer grilled peppers and onions with Knorr's Creamy Chicken Rice.
